Jakob Lkk is a post-minimalist and electronic music composer and improviser on synthesizer, piano and organ. He studied at Goldsmiths in London, the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, and privately with Loïc Mallié, successor of Olivier Messiaen at La Trinité in Paris. He was organist of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam from 2007 to 2022, where he founded ground-breaking music and sound art series for the cathedral space, with musicians and artists such as Herman Kolgen, Zeno van den Broek, Ellen Arkbro, Claire M Singer, Diamanda Dramm, Nicolas Jaar and Philip Glass.
