Jakob Lkk, also known as Jacob Lekkerkerker, is an award-winning organ and synthesizer player, as well as an acclaimed composer of spatial soundscapes. As organist of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam from 2007 to 2022, he founded ground-breaking music series for the cathedral space, with musicians such as Leonard Eto, Herman Kolgen, Claire M Singer, Zeno van den Broek, Maria W Horn, Diamanda Dramm, Nicolas Jaar and Philip Glass. Jakob Lkk studied composition at Goldsmiths, university of London, organ and improvisation at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, and privately with Loïc Mallié, successor of Olivier Messiaen at La Trinité in Paris.
